The antiserum was produced against synthesized phospho-peptide derived from human Vimentin around the phosphorylation site of Tyr61.
Purification
The antibody was purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using phospho peptide. The antibody against non-phospho peptide was removed by chromatography using corresponding non-phospho peptide.
Specificity
Vimentin (Phospho-Tyr61) antibody detects endogenous levels of Vimentin only when phosphorylated at Tyr61.
