Description
MIF (Human) OmniKine ELISA Kit is produced by Assay Biotech Company. It's also identified by the synonym '' Macrophage migration inhibitory factor or Glycosylation-inhibiting factor '', it's a Liquid who targets the Human MIF and that is a pro-inflammatory cytokine. It's able to recognize, detecte and quantificate the endogenous levels of both recombinant and naturally produced Human MIF proteins, within any experimental sample including cell lysates, serum and plasma. It's involved in the response innate immune to bacterial pathogens. MIF may be played a mediating role at the sites of inflammation suggests for regulating the function of macrophages in the defense of the host. It is secreted via a specialized, non-classical pathway, by macrophages when stimulated by M. tuberculosis antigens or by bacterial lipopolysaccharide (LPS). Also MIF does'nt have a cleavable signal sequence. MIF has dopachrome tautomerase and phenylpyruvate tautomerase activity (in vitro), in unknown physiological substrate. It also counteracts the anti-inflammatory activity of glucocorticoids. It's has a colorimetric 450 nm as a detection method, within the range of 32-2000 pg/ml.
